Dr (Shaykh) Rizwan Mustafa is a native English speaker. He completed his Islamic Studies course at the Jamia Binoria University, Karachi, Pakistan after which he completed a Masters in Islamic Studies from the University of Gloucestershire. Rizwan also holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham and currently spends most of his time in academia. By Allah’s grace and mercy, Rizwan has been privileged to work across public and private sector organisations which enables him to offer sound counsel for those seeking marriage.
Alhamdulillah, Rizwan is an experienced Imam. He has conducted hundreds of nikah ceremonies since our formation, all of which have received glowing praise for the manner in which they’ve been officiated (please see the testimonials page for details).

Our History & Development
Al-Nikah formed in 2017 as a bespoke nikah service provider.
Alhamdulillah, over the years we’ve conducted hundreds of nikah ceremonies across the world, both in person and online. We’ve had the privilege of meeting couples from all walks of life, their families, friends and loved ones. Be it an intimate ceremony at home with a handful of people or an extravagant celebration with over a thousand guests, officiating nikahs is an honour that allows us to be a part of what is, for many, one of the most significant days of their lives.
However, we also appreciate that getting married isn’t always straightforward. For some, life, love and circumstance present challenges, and on occasion barriers, to marriage. Our role in such circumstances has been (and remains) to ensure individuals are not religiously or materially compromised as a result of getting married. These conversations aren’t always easy, but they are necessary to ensure we’re providing the right advice and making the right decisions. Alhmdulillah, our continued professionalism and commitment in this field has established us as a trusted service provider.

Al-Nikah Matrimony was developed in response to repeated requests from folks seeking marriage partners. As a result, we set about undertaking research into the Muslim marriage and halal ‘dating’ platforms. After extensive research and development we launched Al-Nikah Matrimony.
