    In short no. The religious provision for interfaith nikahs is really quite stringent and doesn’t allow for Muslim women to marry non Muslim men. Even for Muslim men, interfaith nikahs are not encouraged. This is due to the potential for conflict that can (and often does) arise in later life, particularly concerning children & family.

    We recognise couples who are in such relationships are left with difficult conversations and choices to make, made harder due to emotional investments and attachments. But these deliberations are necessary nonetheless in resolution of a complex religio-emotional matter.
